Sample Leadership Job Descriptions
The ECC Department of Christian Formation has developed a packet of sample job descriptions to provide a model for churches with no existing position descriptions for their leaders. It can, however, also be used to evaluate and improve written position descriptions currently in use by churches. This resource can be downloaded here. Church Governance Models
The ECC has developed a range of models that all meet the criteria for congregational polity. In applying the key principle that congregations retain authority and delegate responsibility, the three models differ in how much is delegated and how many are involved.
